Louise & Tom created the most wonderful, personal wedding day by focusing on all of the things and people that they loved for this beautiful Halstead House Farm wedding. Louise wore vintage lace teamed with a cute pink jacket that she personalised herself with the addition of a vintage brooch at the back, tailoring the boxy design to better suit her look. Her headpiece was unique too, incorporating some of her grandmother’s old pearls. Louise also had the old pearls made into a necklace for herself and bracelets for her sister and mother – a lovely surprise for them the morning of the wedding. Tom opted for bespoke tweed which he wore with the incredible meteorite (yes – meteorite!!!) cufflinks that Louise gifted him for their anniversary shortly before the wedding. They decorated the venue with copious amounts of greenery which looked and smelled divine. There was a wonderful homemade dessert table in place of a traditional wedding cake and they opted not to have an official first dance but instead celebrated entering into married life with sparklers and board games. I did catch them on the dance floor before I left though – ha! My favourite thing about this beautiful day was the way Louise and Tom made it 100% their own. They chose which traditions to keep and which to skip, rocked their inimitable style and sealed the deal with beautiful vintage rings. What’s not to love about such a gorgeous, personal day?
