Stanley Villa Farm Tipi Wedding << Jane + Steve >>
A tipi by a lake, home made beer and foraged fruit gin, and a bicycle made for two. This Stanley Villa Farm tipi wedding ticks so many boxes I don’t really know where to begin. So I’ll just tell you what springs to mind and let the pictures do the rest.
Jane rode a tandem to church with her dad and then back home again with her new husband Steve. Three of the bridesmaids sang in church and it sounded so beautiful I almost cried. Jane’s folks rang hand bells as the newlyweds left church and set off for their festival inspired Stanley Villa Farm tipi wedding reception. Everyone grinned form ear to ear as they relaxed in the sunshine, a beer or cocktail in hand, listening to the awesome music and soaking in the love and laughter that emanate from Jane and Steve. There was football and space hopper related mayhem, a small child insisted on placing several adults in jenga jail and at least one pair of trousers got torn. Jane kicked off her shoes within twenty minutes of arriving lake side and there was a moment where she and Steve embraced in the woodland reflecting on their journey so far and sharing their hopes and dreams for the future and, well, it was pretty magical. Jane and Steve and blessed with excellent taste in music, a fine selection of family and friends, and above all else, each other.
