richmond eShoot << hannah + mark >>

I’m not really one for new year resolutions. I usually enter January thinking I should probably make some improvements to my exercise regime/diet/body block/accounting system/etc but then I remember that I’m pretty happy the way things are and I really like having a lovely sit down/eating cake/drinking beer/sleeping in/etc. So I had a proper chuckle when I saw this awesome (somewhat passive aggressive I admit) post online entitled 14 Fucks I Refuse To Give in 2014. She’s my kinda girl, that one. I like the cut of her jib. So I’m not going to bother listing all of the improvements I COULD make. But there is one thing I’m going to do…and it starts right now. I’m going to be a more organised blogger. Yes indeedy. See, I have a plan. I made this plan before Christmas as it happens, and sort of semi introduced it in a lazy, half hearted way. I was too wrapped up in shopping and wrapping and eating and finding cute shoes to wear though so I forgot about it until now. But the time has come. I’m introducing some order to this chaos. And it’ll look something like this:

A look back at the weekend including wedding sneak peeks (when I’ve shot weddings that weekend – obviously).

tuesday2013 round up beer of the month

The usual waffle and a monthly beer review. Oh yes. A BEER REVIEW. I really like beer. Some of my couples really like beer. This is a good thing. Let’s all share a beer (or two).

Does what it says on the tin, I’ll post one of my lovely weddings every week with info about the suppliers involved where available. May as well make some of the fab ideas I get to photograph as easy to copy as possible, right?

thursdaytea towel wedding favours

A guide to all things wedding – upcoming trends, lovely venues, some my favourite moments, recommended suppliers, etc. I get to see some lovely wedding ideas so I figured this was a good way of sharing them.

fridayrichmond green e-shoot
A review of the week including any styled shoots, rock the frocks or other things I’ve been shooting plus e-shoots for upcoming wedding couples.

This week’s e-shoot took place in Richmond back in the summer. Hannah and Mark (a Brit and a Kiwi) now live in Melbourne, Australia and had literally arrived in the UK just 36 hours before we met up, ahead of their September wedding. They were so nervous and camera shy, we ended up spending more time in the pub supping beer and nattering then actually taking photos. But it paid off. By the time their wedding came around they were happy as can be in front of the camera. I’ll be sharing their wedding pics with you next week and you’ll see exactly what I mean!
