twenty thirteen << OMG >>
After I posted yesterday’s look back at the weddings of 2013, I realised that there are lots of photos that I’ve taken for work over the course of the year that aren’t from “weddings” but do relate to them. There was one major rock the frock for a couple who were disappointed with the wedding photies that their original photographer had supplied. There was a styled shoot inspired by the Spirit Of Beltane. There was a residential workshop where I hung out with (and photographed) Kat from Rock’n’Roll Bride & hubbie Gareth, Sophie from Crown & Glory & her fella Gareth, and my friend the hair magician & make-up maestro Elbie (who hadn’t brought a chap called Gareth along sadly but does have a husband with a very fine beard in real life). And there were the e-shoots too. Lots of lovely e-shoots. I offer all of my clients a complimentary e-shoot because they’re great opportunities to (a) learn some tips and tricks for looking good in your wedding photies; (b) meet me, see how bonkers I am in real life and get a feel for how I work; and (c) get some professional shots taken of you in real life, being yourselves, to hang on your wall or plonk on your desk – the guys in the movies always have fab couple piccies so why shouldn’t we all, hey? Here’s a selection of my fave “non-wedding” shots of the year, anyway. Enjoy!
If you fancy having a natter about an e-shoot before you book, just drop me a line. I’m happy to do them as standalone shoots that can be discounted against your full package price if you go ahead and book me for your wedding afterwards. A try before you buy kind of thing.

I’m so loving that outdoor swim picture – perhaps predictably. It’s the best thing! Did you blog that shoot, Hannah?
That was Feast In The Woods – it was amazing. Can’t wait to go back this year actually. You’d love it! x
