Imagine a Surrey garden party wedding with an elegant grey colour scheme. Add in delightful origami elements including a stunning cake and animal themed tables in a clean white marquee. Put the stunning bride in a breathtaking Pronovias illusion lace dress with crystal Louboutins. Give her a simple white lily bouquet and dress her four besties in grey. Add in a bevy of handsome boys, more bubbly than you can shake a stick at, ridiculously good weather, a disused airfield for sunset couple portraits and a cocktail fuelled dance floor… Oh and an aisle lined with giant balloons. You’ll soon see that it all adds up to one hell of a gorgeous wedding. Amanda & Rhys were married in Amanda’s parents’ garden in Surrey. Their humanist ceremony in a white marquee was personal, heartfelt and at times downright hilarious. The afternoon was punctuated with fine food and champagne with cocktails at night. Planner Rebecca pulled out all the stops to ensure it was a perfect day. Even the stars came out to play. It was a truly unforgettable wedding. I cannot thank Amanda and Rhys enough for suggesting a sunset jaunt out onto the abandoned airfield, or the best men (the terrible twins) for their side splitting joint speech, or Amanda’s mum Geraldine for the beaming smile that never left her face and made every single person feel like they were blessed to be in her presence. This is exactly how a Surrey garden party wedding should be. Incredibly elegant but ultimately very relaxed and so much fun you ache for days afterwards.
