Back in October I was extremely lucky to win a place on the awesome Redfern & Crawley United creative wedding photography workshop in Manchester. Hosted by award winning wedding photographers Neil Redfern and Liam and Bee Crawley, the day covered various shooting styles and lighting techniques together with editing and portfolio presentation. Not only did I get to learn snazzy new tricks from people who seriously know their stuff, but I also got to hang out with some incredible people that I feel lucky to call friends. The same people I spent Friday with on the beach having fun with cameras and models and doggies and smoke bombs. It’s such days that make me feel exceptionally lucky to be part of this industry. Not only because I love shooting weddings, but also because of all the wonderful people I’ve met along the way. Hurrah! Here are a few of my faves from the workshop – although I confess I spent more time listening, watching and having a giggle than taking pictures myself. Hehe.
