Last summer I met up with my good friend Kate of Lucabella Photography to second shoot this lovely wedding in Nottingham. With a Catholic nuptial mass followed by an outdoorsy reception at the stunning Colwick Hall, it was a fab day filled with laughter (well, apart from the ceremony, obviously, that was a far more serious affair). After all the rain we’ve had lately, it’s so nice to remember that gorgeous sunny August afternoon. Pimms on the lawn, gazing out over the river, strolling through the woods – one of those long, blissful summer days. Fingers crossed the big golden ball comes out to play plenty this year too.
