Picture a beautiful spring day. Bright blue skies and only the faintest of breezes. A radiant bride in her stunning bespoke dress carrying delicate English country garden flowers. A dapper (and very tall) groom in blue, grinning from ear to ear. A church ceremony filled with joy including a picture quiz and inflatable instruments for the All You Need Is Love/Can’t Take My Eyes Off You singalong (Oh Happy Day). A wonderful Yorkshire Heritage Bus and a stunning split screen VW camper (I was a bit smitten it has to be said).  And Wentworth Castle Gardens stunning conservatory as the venue for a few cheeky drinks in the glorious sunshine. A reception filled with personal touches and crafty details. Tables named after dearly departed grandparents. Draw your own jigsaws and love letter scrabble boards. Sweeties, cupcakes and cake pops. Speeches that left not a single dry eye in the room (yes – my eyes leaked too). More thank you gifts than you could shake a stick at. And the most amazing band I have ever heard – a big thumbs up and a double high fives to the inimitable No Limit Street Band. Add in wonderful venue staff, the sound of raucous laughter, a couple of transformers, a golf buggy and just generally some of the nicest people you can ever imagine meeting. And that, ladles and jelly spoons, is kind of what Jody and Ben’s wedding was like. Only even better. Trust me. It was EPIC. Take a look.
