Laid Back Humanist Farm Wedding < < katie + lewis > >
Want to hear about quite possibly my favourite wedding that I’ve photographed to date? You do? Well ok then. I’ll tell you about the day I spent with Katie and Lewis who were married last month at a short but super sweet outdoor humanist ceremony at a Church Farm on the Wirral, overlooking the beautiful Welsh hills, with a bunch of their awesome family and friends, a gramophone DJ, afternoon tea, wild flowers, a tractor ride, animal petting, a cool band, a fire pit, a super tasty hog roast and so much more. One seriously awesome day for an utterly lovely couple. Check out Katie’s AMAZING vintage seventies frock (she changed into a polka-dot fifties number for the evening) offcuts from the sleeves of which were pinned into her hair! Lewis looked rather dapper too in his vintage 1960’s suit – a fabulous eBay find. And when the boys donned their flat caps… Who doesn’t love a flat cap? A huge thank you to Chris Seddon for his mad second shooting skills and to Katie and Lewis for having us along for the day. Twas ludicrous amounts of fun. I even got to pet some farm animals. Amazing!
