I have a huge thing for vintage and I’m massively into nostalgia. Lucky for me, my auntie is too. She’s what you could call a hoarder, but I prefer to think of her as a collector. The curator of her own personal museum. A visit to her home is always full of wonder and beauty. From the display cases of dolls, trinkets and treasures, to the bookshelves, to every day items like mirrors and hair slides that already have a rich history. My auntie lives in a beautiful world. She finds many of her gorgeous pieces at car boot sales and in junk shops. I dare say a lot of the time I wouldn’t even notice them myself, but she has a special knack for spotting truly wonderful items. And I am so glad to have her in my life. She makes me wish I could live in a time gone by surrounded by hat boxes and doilies. *sigh*
