What a weekend! I second shot an incredible Alrewas Hayes wedding on Saturday for the king of cool weddings, Steve Gerrard. One of the groomsmen had brewed a special beer for the occasion (and I can confirm it was a tasty cask pint) and the dance floor action was epic. And I saw some baby ducks. Top day! And then on Sunday I met up with wedding photographer Sam Whiting and her fella Mat for their engagement shoot. We took a stroll through the extended grounds of Thrumpton Hall (I grew up in Thrumpton and my folks still live in the village), nattered about their wedding next month, snapped away and met the cutest kitten-cat ever. I was a little bit chattered by the time I arrived back in Yorkshire on Sunday evening, but happily Damian was home (having spent much of last week down at the London Coffee Festival) and announced that we were going to pop to the pub for a cheeky beer. Perfect end to a busy weekend – it even made my aching feet feel better, I swear. Anyway…here’s a sneak peek at Sam & Mat’s shoot. Enjoy.
