Tattoo Time << chit chat >>
I’m up in Gateshead this week visiting my sister, bro-in-law and nephew LJ. The visit was timed to coincide with a tattoo session. I’ve been looking forward to it for months. My major ink has all been done by the wonderfully talented, incredibly funny, unbelievably rude, world famous Bez – founder of Triple Six Tattoo Studio in Sunderland. I absolutely love his work and as an added bonus, I have so much fun with him whilst it’s being done that I find the sessions an absolute pleasure. That was certainly the case today. An hour or so of chatting through design ideas (based on photographs I’ve taken on my travels to Nepal, Malaysia and Thailand over the last 6 months) and pen doodles straight onto my arm followed by just over 4 hours of needle work and my SE Asian sleeve is well and truly underway. I now have the dragon’s head on my lower arm. Got another session booked in a couple of weeks to add the body, more lotus blossom and a mountain goat skull on the upper arm. Can’t wait.
Woo…INK!
