Stunning Rainy Day Knipe Hall Wedding << Lindsay + Jonny >>
A few weeks back I shot a gorgeous laid back wedding at one of my favourite venues (Knipe Hall) and it rained. It rained a lot. But that didn’t spoil a thing. In fact, it made the brief appearance of late afternoon sunshine all the more special. There’s always a lovely feel to rainy weddings – a spirit of community and a sense of fun. Plenty of people headed out under their brollies to admire the gorgeous view in spite of the weather and it provided some seriously moody skies too. Meanwhile, even when the heavens really opened, everybody had a blast indoors and didn’t give two hoots. I remember laughing a lot. I remember an instant camera guest book that was heaps of fun. I remember a delicious cake. I remember a stunning vintage inspired dress. I remember so many smiling faces. I remember hilarious and touching speeches. I remember the love that was very apparent between this gorgeous pair. I’d not met either Lindsay or Jonny before the day, busy schedules meant that we hardly spoke at all in the lead up, in fact. But on the day Jen and I were welcomed as though we were dear old friends and I can honestly say I left feeling like I’d spent the days with a bunch of my best mates. I also caught a cold though…so I didn’t get around to blogging a preview post straight away. Their gallery is uploading as I type so I thought I’d whizz a few of my faves up onto the blog in the meantime. Enjoy this little preview of one heck of a lovely Knipe Hall wedding!
And I really love these shots taken by Jen!
