I’ve got a weekend off. No weddings to shoot and no editing to do, anyway. A weekend of relaxing and drinking and seeing Neutral Milk Hotel (whoop) and just generally spending time with my fella. Damian and I are off down to the Midlands later today. Got to take TicToc in for her MOT (argh – always nerve wracking) and then tomorrow we’re off to a friend’s birthday bash. Sunday I’ll be donning my photographer hat again though. I’m super excited to catch up with my dear friend Robina and her expanding family. l get to meet two month old Rory (can’t wait to kiss that little monkey’s squishy face) and his new baby cousin Charlotte who was born just last week. Squee! I do love babies. And if there’s time when we get back on Sunday afternoon, I might have a bit of a potter in the garden. Starting to see the fruits of my labour now. Still loads of planting to do (but I need to buy a couple of tonnes of top soil first) but the progress so far is making me happy. It’s good to have green fingers.
