So…it’s been a far while since I’ve blogged a full wedding. Over 6 months in fact. What can I say? I got super busy and I neglected my blogging duties. Tut tut. But the good news is, I have a tonne of amazing weddings to share with you now. Hurrah! I’m starting with the most recent wedding I’ve delivered, a cool as f*ck DIY Peckham Liberal Club wedding featuring some gorgeous people, sparkly wink eye shoes, crazy good dancing, indoor sparklers, a sixties inspired bride and probably the smoothest groom this side of the seventies. You’re still fixated on the sparkly wink eye shoes, right? I knew it. And yes, they were as awesome as they sound. In fact, probably more so. Because they were flat and therefore dance floor friendly. Oh yes indeedy. Check them OUT.

Ellen and Pete are two of the sweetest people I’ve met. Super stylish too. Their home is absolutely beautiful and reflects their love of mid-century style and all things music (you should see Pete’s vinyl collection – my other half is green with envy). And their dog Jimmy is unquestionably one of the greatest dogs on the planet. A Romanian rescue with his own instagram following (@wolf_sausage) and a pug for a best friend. But back to Ellen & Pete’s wedding… Their day involved a lovely, intimate ceremony at Southwark Registry Office followed by a big kick ass party at Peckham Liberal Club. The speeches were downright hilarious (including some prize stories from Pete’s Kenickie days and a brief insight into the mindset of a single Croydon girl on the lookout for lurve). Various of their fab friends took turns on the decks and ensured the dance floor was heaving all night long and I’ve never seen so many people rocking light up ears but still, somehow, looking blummin’ gorgeous – not least Pete’s sister Lauren who gets the prize for donning said ears first and wearing them the longest!

So get stuck in and feast your eyes on this lovely little Peckham Liberal Club wedding. It’s a good’un.
