dollyanna lovefest << rosanna + dan >>
Late into the summer I received a last minute enquiry from Rosanna & Dan – just 4 weeks before their wedding, the original photographer had cancelled on them. Eeek. Thankfully I was available and more than happy to step in. And I am so glad that I did. I arrived in Surrey the evening before and caught up with Dan and his family having a drink at the gorgeous Talbot Hotel in Ripley. Next morning I headed to a nearby village to find Rosanna busy getting ready at home surrounded by her 9 bridesmaids (one you may recognise who proved to be worth her weight in gold doing the other girls’ hair for them), her mum and adorable daughter Layla. The house was buzzing with nervous energy but Rosanna seemed as calm as can be. By the time her pops arrived to escort her to church, she was looking pretty as can be. Combine a stunning gown with a stunning girl and you really can’t go wrong. The bridesmaids all looked fabulous in their Infinity Octopus dresses but Maid Of Honour Layla was the show stealer in her fabulous grey tutu and mini floral crown. I’m a big fan of floral crowns, don’t you know. It was a wonderful day from start to finish and I came away feeling on top of the world. The love that Rosanna, Dan and Layla share is infectious and makes everyone around them feel fantastic too. It really was incredible to play a part in such a special day.
