This wedding! this amazing Darwin Lake Wedding! Oh my flipping crikey. I am still buzzing from it all. Still emotional remembering the speeches. Still a giddy kipper recalling the ceremony singalong (I Wanna Hold Your Hand). Still exhausted from the dancing. Still smokey smelling from the BBQ. Still completely in love with everyone I met and everything about this amazing weekend, celebrating the love shared by two incredibly sweet people. Caroline and Harley are THE BEST. Their wedding was incredible. All of it. The relaxed morning milling about at Darwin Lake, the chaotic prep, the emotional ceremony, the singalong, the cocktail hour, the bouncy castle, the cake, the mismatched chairs and china, the bunting and streamers, the teapots of wine, the instax photobooth, the crazy ass dance floor antics with glow sticks and a loud haler, the pizza, the late night shenanigans, the morning after mooching around, the BBQ….the people. Yeah, mostly the people. They were bloody lovely. Every single one of them. Jen and I felt like we belonged. We partied, we stuffed our faces with sweets, we laughed til we almost cried, we fell into bed exhausted and then got up and carried on in a smokey haze. Caroline and Harley…you did it. You made it happen. You made EVERYONE that matters smile. You’re both bloody amazing and I am so glad that you found me and let me come along to play. THANK YOU!
