London Rowing Club Wedding << Bryony + Martin >>
Some years ago, I met Martin (and his best man Rich) at a mutual friend’s wedding in the Ukraine. We got on like a house on fire and spent several evenings drinking booze on children’s playgrounds together. It was good. Flash forward to last weekend, and it was Martin’s turn to tie the knot. Bryony and Martin met through rowing (the sport, not arguing) seventeen years ago but took over ten years to finally get together. They’ve already made a wonderful home for themselves and their adorable daughter, Georgie – so the time seemed right to make things official. But they wanted to do things their own way. A thoroughly relaxed, laid back day, and pretty much on the river. With a rowing blade guard of honour after their lovely church ceremony and a reception at Putney’s London Rowing Club (of which Bryony is a Henley winning member, don’t you know), the day was distinctly rowing themed and suited this pair 100%. There was joy, there was laughter, and Georgie totally stole the show during the ceremony, pottering about at the front of the church like the happy little thing that she is. But in the main, it was all about these two. Feast your eyes on this cute London Rowing Club wedding…
