When Chris Seddon asked me to second shoot a wedding at Hartington Hall last summer, I jumped at the chance. Hartington Hall is not only a stunning stone venue with beautiful grounds in a fabulous setting – it’s also a youth hostel st which all of the wedding guests were staying, making a weekend of it. Heck yes to that. Leanne and Geoff had planned a fun, festival inspired day full of incredible details including a Choccywoccydoodah cake and elaborate hand decorated shoes. With a giant tipi for the party and a smaller chill out tipi with log burner and comfy chairs nestled amongst the trees to chill out in later on, Hartington Hall proved to be an awesome wedding venue. With a hog roast, some good beer and oodles of sunshine it ended up being a fabulous day, and one that the happy couple and their cute as a button little girl wont be forgetting any time soon.
