Colourful RHS Wisley Glasshouse Wedding << Rachel + Matt >>
I knew from the first time I met Rachel & Matt that their RHS Wisley Glasshouse wedding was going to be something very special and when the day arrived I was not disappointed. This Greek and English nuptial mash-up was blessed with incredible weather (hard to believe that it was actually pouring with rain during bridal prep) and a collection of people who love to party. Having met through their indie music society at uni, this wedding was always going to have a phenomenal soundtrack, and I was so happy to see Disco Wed (the guys behind festival party beasts Disco Shed) there to oversee the turntable magic. Another highlight for me was Rachel & Matt’s unique wedding vows. Written together, they took turns to read a line at a time and it was so sweet, so funny and so very personal. I’ve never seen anything like it before but I hope more couples think to do something like this because it was, quite frankly, wonderful! And then there is all of the stunning visual aspects of this wedding. The Fur Coat No Knickers dress, the Rachel Simpson shoes, the knitted bouquet & buttonhole, the Lily Bella birdcage veil with Crown & Glory embellishment, not forgetting Matt’s amazing bespoke Chris Kerr suit. Oh and the food… an amazing Greek feast with a patisserie selection from Kalm Kitchen that was, quite simply, divine. Yep, this colourful RHS Wisley Glasshouse wedding was something special and reflected the two amazing people who got married that day so perfectly that I can’t help but grin whenever I look at these pictures!
