Jane Austen Bridal Scene 1 << styled shoot >>

I have had an absolutely AMAZEBALLS few days. Seriously. Three days of shooting. A wonderful wedding which I second shot for Adele Haywood of Blue Lights Photography (gotta love a man in uniform), a ShutterRock shoot-up on the beautiful beach in Littlehampton (with some incredible first time models – I cannot WAIT to share that with you all) and then a breathtaking styled shoot day at Wiston House in West Sussex, a 16th century Grade I listed building surrounded by thousands of acres of magnificent parkland – perfect for the Jane Austen theme of the day. Obviously, I have hundreds of images form the three shoots and I am trying to choose my favourites to share here on the blog…but it is so HARD! Ugh. I have gone through the first scene of the Jane Austen shoot though. A beautiful bride taking afternoon tea with a classic novel in the orangery. Check it out…

Is it just me or does this lovely lady remind you of Natalie Portman? A little bit? Maybe? She is so very pretty!

I just loved the awesome vintage crockery, I must say. And I cannot even begin to tell you how tempted I was to indulge in some of the edible props. Crikey. It’s a good job lunch included a hefty portion of Eton Mess because otherwise I’m not so sure I’d have been able to hold back…
