I’m just going to come out and say it – I love cupcakes. I really do. I like cake, generally. Cake is good. In pretty much all of its forms. But cupcakes make me extra happy. I think it’s the high icing to cake ratio. The paper cases. The decorative options. The ease of having multiple varieties (decoratively or in terms of flavour). And, of course, the fact that I can just pick one up and pop it into my mouth. Yep. I love cupcakes. They’re not new. Cupcakes at weddings began as a trend a few years back. And I’m glad that it hasn’t died out just yet. Because cupcakes are GOOD. Whether they are your standard size, mini or even giant. Cupcakes rock my world. Long live the cupcake.
