Well that’s cool. You’re definitely in the right place. I’m Hannah. Guess what? I’m a wedding photographer. And I’m pretty good at it too (people have said this – I’m not just being a big‘ed). I go to weddings and I take pictures and everyone has an awesome time. And they get great piccies too. What's not to love?
I live on the moors at the northern edge of the Peak District and travel all over the country (and beyond) doing what I love: shooting weddings, making friends, dancing like a dickhead and eating lots of cake.

My approach to your wedding is that, well, it’s yours. As unique and wonderful as you are. And that’s how it should be in picture form too. When you look back, you’ll want to remember your wedding day exactly as it was. The people you shared it with, the details you poured your heart and soul into, the cheeky glint in your eyes when you first caught sight of one another, the nerves, the laughter, the tears... I document your day as it happens and try to let things flow naturally.
I do shoot portraits and groups but prefer to keep them fun rather than formal. Authentic images of you and your loved ones having a great day - not staged, not forced, and definitely not cheesy.
More often than not, my couples say that they see me as (and their guests assume that I am) a friend. An extra pair of hands to help it all run smoothly, a warm smile of encouragement, a kick up the backside... whatever it takes. I’ll do everything I can to make sure the experience exceeds your expectations. And then I’ll hand you a bunch of beautiful images that show you just how much fun we had. Because photos are bloody brilliant, weddings are awesome and I really care about the people I work with.

Pre-wedding shoots typically last 2 hours and include a digital download gallery. I actively encourage the involvement of pets, places that are important to you and comfy shoes. Travel is included within 25 miles of my home (which covers most places between Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield basically) but I’m happy to travel further afield if you’re ok to cover travel expenses & can recommend a good pub/cafe.
An eShoot is a great opportunity for us to hang out and get to know each other. I show you how I work and go through some tips to help you look your best in pics, you learn to relax in front of the dreaded cameras (I usually shoot with two) and see how fab you look in the results, and we all go away with a warm fuzzy feeling and hopefully a pint of beer or a lovely cup of tea in our belly.

If there’s one thing about my job that never ceases to amaze me, it’s just how exciting it is to see wedding photos in print. Digital files are great, yes. We can share them easily and back them up. But there’s just something truly magical about an actual printed photograph. And wedding albums are just next level!
It’s so much more nostalgic leafing through those beautiful, carefully designed pages rather than swooshing through screens online. And a good album instantly becomes a family heirloom. That’s why I encourage everyone to have an album – even if they don’t get it though me!
I want my lovely couples to have something real, something tangible, something beautiful that they can hold in their hands, show to their families and pass on to their children.

The next thing we should do is have a good old natter. It’s important to make sure that you click with the photographer you choose. You end up spending a heck of a lot of time with them on an important and often emotional day, so the last thing you want is someone who will annoy you.
You deserve someone who will fit in at your wedding and be able to produce the sorts of photos that really mean something to you.
If you guys want to check that I fit the bill, we need to talk. So let’s set up a call or a skype session and see what happens! If things are all systems go… let me know and I can send over a booking form and we can get this thing NAILED.
I ask for a £500 booking fee to reserve your date, 50% of the balance 3 months before the wedding and then the final installment one month before.
After that it’s all GO GO GO. Jen and I will shoot the shit out of your wedding, I’ll lovingly edit your images in my signature style and then deliver an awesome gallery full of memories that you will bloody love. Yeah!
