vintage styled wedding at the west wing at ickworth << beana + david >>
My best mate from school got married. In June. To an absolutely wonderful man. And I could not be more proud to show you these photies of their utterly lovely day. Seriously. Going through them ready to write this post brought fresh tears to my eyes. It was without a doubt the most emotional I’ve ever felt at a wedding. Helping Beana into her gown and then following her & dad Brian in the vintage car from the Angel Hotel in Bury to the wonderful National Trust venue West Wing at Ickworth I had a proper cry. Yes, I’m a big soppy romantic and I don’t care who knows it. Tee hee. I was thrilled when Beana met David – or train boy as she called him back then. And even more so when he asked his train girl to marry him at Bradgate Park on Boxing Day in 2011. She fell in love with not only him, but also his two kitties so I knew it was the real thing – she’s allergic to all things feline and had never shown even the slightest inclination towards wanting pets before she met David! And then my heart nearly burst when she asked me if I would be their photographer. Spending such a special day with my oldest friend, well it was absolutely amazing. And I only hope Beana and David love their photies as much as I enjoyed taking them! Huge thanks to Adrienne Pitts for second shooting for me on the day and to Beana’s family for making me feel so very loved. Look forward to seeing you all again soon!

I love their venue and the little cake cats and the fact that they really seemed to be laughing all the way through the day. Great photos!
