Rainy back garden humanist DIY wedding << laura + andy >>
Last year I got to work with some really awesome photographers, and second shooting for people whose work I really admire is such a privilege. It’s even better when they are a bonkersly brilliant wedding tog extraordinaire like Andrea Ellison. That woman is seriously good fun and an incredibly talented photographer too. Love her to bits. So getting to shoot with her was pretty much awesome on a plate. Even when it meant shooting an outdoor ceremony in the rain! Believe it or not, even the terrible weather couldn’t spoil that magical day, in the bride’s parents’ back garden. In fact, even the sun came out briefly giving everyone a chance to ditch their brollies and have a natter before we all legged it down to the village hall for the reception when the heavens opened again. Tee hee.
I can’t thank Andrea enough for having me along for the day, nor Laura, Andy and their friends and family for making is such a special day to be a part of. I got to try several (I think it was 6) types of cake and didn’t stop smiling all day. That’s how weddings should be. Full of smiles. And cake. Yeah!
