Quirky Whetsted Farm Wise Wedding Preview << Becky + Jamie >>
I met Becky when I was down in London a couple of months ago and got slightly over excited when she told me about her and Jamie’s wedding plans. A vintage broderie anglaise dress with a Comme des Garcons veil, bespoke silver shoes designed by a friend, country garden flowers arranged by another friend, a towering naked cake made by yet another friend (we’re talking about a talented bunch of people here, folks) and not one but two fabulous venues – Tonbridge Castle for the ceremony and then the wonderful woodland playground that is Wise Weddings at Whetsted Farm. Yes… it’s as bonkersly brilliant as it looks. And then some. The bridal suite tree house is immense. The sofa swings and armchair seesaw are epic. And the waterside woodland clearing is such a tranquil haven on a warm summer’s day. I loved it. Of course, being surrounded by a whole lot of lovely people helped. So many smiles, so much laughter. Becky and Jamie have such lovely family and friends. And you know what? It makes total sense. Because they are bloody LOVELY people themselves. I had an amazing day and I know from the joy that I saw all around me that everybody else did too. Hurrah! And so, I break my small blogging hiatus to bring you my favourite shots from their hot sunny eclectic wedding.
You captured this amazing day in the most perfect way, even the photos have the same feeling.
Oh wow, these are beeeeeeautiful! Absolutely love them.
I think the photographer has captured all the special moments on my daughters wedding day, lucky Dad!
