I really love a good pub wedding. Hannah and Mark managed to plan, in my opinion, the perfect pub wedding, from all the way over in Oz! Laid back, fun, lots of lovely booze, happy guests is a given…throw in some seasonal wild flowers (my favourite), a fabulous short frock (love it – from Alannah Hill in Oz), a stylish up do, lots of real diamonds (her grandmother’s necklace – oh my), some seriously dapper groom’s attire (Mark looks killer, right?), the tastiest red velvet cake I ever did scoff (several slices at that), an adorable cheese stack topper (the pegs!!!) and you’ve got one heck of a lovely wedding on your hands. Hannah is from Richmond, Mark is a Kiwi, and they now live in Melbourne, Australia. They incorporated penguins because the adorable birds mate for life – and they also played a part in Mark’s sweet proposal story. Their day was all about having a lovely time with their nearest and dearest in the UK. Mark’s best mate and immediate family came over from New Zealand too which made it all the more special. I was thoroughly impressed with the Marlborough – best BBQ food I’ve had I reckon and such a fab relaxed setting to celebrate an intimate wedding. All in all, this was one day that I will be remembering for a long time to come. Huge thanks to Hannah and Mark for being so trusting, so honest and so sweet together. I can’t wait to catch up with you guys when you’re back in Blighty again!
