Helen is a photographer. She is gentle and softly spoken. She wore her grandmother’s old dancing shoes to get married and a stunning lace gown. Woody is a climber and a cheeky monkey. Together they make the perfect couple. Their Lake District wedding was a wet one. Plans for an outdoor ceremony were abandoned in favour of the oak paneled dining room, decorated with beautiful seasonal flowers and lace bunting. The tables were named after hikes the pair have completed together. The boat trip required brollies but proved to be a great post dinner opportunity to sup some decent beers, have a good old natter and let the fabulous food settle. And in the evening… shapes were pulled. That’s all I’ll say. Thank heavens for a wee break in the clouds and the existence of umbrellas  I say. Hurrah!
