Crikey blimey Charlie…can it be? Am I really posting twice in one week? Well, yes, as it happens. I am. And today I am just going to tell you a bit about me and what makes me tick. First up, you already know that I blood love photography. And you may have gathered that I swear a bit sometimes. Ahem. Oh and I like ink. A lot. I’m gearing up for another session at the tattoo studio later this week in fact. So excited! And I also have a big thing for vintage. Mainly finding uses for old stuff to avoid it being left as junk. Recycling is all well and good, but re-use is even better and re-purposing makes my heart sing. And that ties into my love of crafting. I’m no expert crafter, I make no claim to being a crafting queen, oh no. But I do dabble. I know and I sew and I am ever so fond of my glue gun. Crafting is a nice little hobby to have. I feel like I’m passing my time productively if I’m making a little something rather than just being a lazy ass. Because I do have a tendency towards laziness. I love my bed. And I will happily sit and watch films for hours on end. But I do also like to get out and about, to enjoy the fresh air with my doggie and surround myself with natural beauty as often as possible. I’m lucky to live in a pretty little village with gorgeous riverside walks just a stones throw from my house. Spoilt rotten, in fact.
In other news, I turned 35 last weekend and baked myself a delicious gluten free chocolate roulade as a reward. I made one this weekend too. Because it was so delicious and I simply couldn’t resist. Naughty! Worst of all, I had promised to save a slice of the original cake to take along for my date on Tuesday but I completely forgot and my mum and I ended up eating the whole thing. Cake number two was devoured by my family within 24 hours too. Which means I will have to make ANOTHER one at some point so that the lovely boy in question gets to have a go on it. Hee! Any excuse…
And you are bloody lovely :). Now give me some of that chocolate roulade!!!
