Feels Like Summer < < chit chat > >

Oh, hello sunshine! How lovely has this weather been? I had actually forgotten just how uplifting a touch of warmth and the prettiness of those golden rays can be. Crikey blimey. I have been in one heck of a fab mood for a while now and see no sign of it coming to an end. Even the clouds on Saturday (my first wedding of the year – typical) couldn’t dampen my spirits. Hurrah! So I thought I’d share some more random pretty piccies with you all. Bit of a mixed bag. First up we have a series I like to call “adventures in ladybird stalking”…

Next…LJ looking super cute during one of his wake up Auntie Hannah sessions – he would run into my room every morning while I was staying with my sister shouting my name and wanting to play “night night” which involves climbing into my bed, pulling the covers up tight and pretending to be asleep. In these shots, my sister is actually the one playing night night. Because LJ told her too. It’s a good game!

I also have some piccies from the wedding fair stall at the Gateway Hotel last weekend which I forgot to upload sooner. Wedding fair season is over for me now but I’ll be back in the autumn and plan to exhibit at several shows in Nottingham and further afield too. At The Gateway I had a lovely L shaped stall in a bright sunny corner of the lovely glass lobby area next to my good friend Sara from Monty Manatee

And here’s Sara (and her toddler son doing some serious manual labour at the end of the day) and two of my favourite designs from her quirky, new wedding stationery collection…

And finally…here’s the first photo I took with my FABULOUS new camera. I am chuffed to bits with my Canon 5D mkiii… Admittedly I am looking a bit “away with the fairies” here I know but that’s just the effect camera love has on me. I was smitten from the get go, I tell ya. And when I discovered the joy that is silent mode…I actually kissed it. Yes. I kissed my camera. I am that girl. Ahem. Don’t judge me!?!
