Erewash Golf Club Wedding Fair < < chit chat > >
I’ve been a bit tardy posting this – and I have no excuse. Yes I had a cold, but that was last week. This week I have been fit and healthy but ever so slightly engrossed in thoughts of the future. I’ve been meeting with some lovely couples and taken some fabulous bookings for venues that genuinely make me swoon. I do love weddings so very much. Seriously. I absolutely love chatting with brides and grooms to be about their big day. It’s so exciting. Hence I enjoy wedding fairs. On Sunday I exhibited at the Erewash Valley Golf Club at Stanton-by-Dale. It was a glorious day – I’d almost forgotten what bright sunshine looked like – and there was a good turn out. I met some lovely people and am crossing my fingers that some of them will get in touch to talk some more about their incredible wedding plans. I think I actually clapped and bounced with excitement several times. Hehe.
Wedding season kicks off for me at the end of March with a lovely reception at Lakeside Tower. Faye and Rich are actually having an intimate ceremony over on Koh Lanta in Thailand (the lucky buggers will be heading over there in a couple of weeks) then celebrating with all of their friends and family when they get home. Can’t wait to see them with their beautiful husband and wife tans!
In the meantime, I’ll be exhibiting at three more wedding fairs over the next 6 weeks and I’ve got a very unusual post coming up featuring shots not taken by me, but of me. Yes, I am going to be terribly self-indulgent and share a bunch of photos taken by some very talented photographers (they even made me look hott) at a Burlesque & Boudoir Workshop down in Brighton a couple of weeks ago. It was so much fun. I’ve always loved burlesque, but I was so inspired by the shoot that I’ve actually signed myself up for classes now. Because when you’ve got a fab stage name, it’d be an awful shame not to use it, right? I’ll tell you all about it next week!
Til then…here are some snapshots of my stall at the wedding fair on Sunday.
Your stand looks amazing!!! Not surprised you’ve got all those awesome bookings 🙂 xx
