So – I introduced you to Ruth on Friday, hanging out on my home turf with her beau Neil. Well now I’m going to big her up massively. Because Ruth is not only (a) gorgeous and (b) a brainiac at Nottingham University but also (c) a crazy talented artist and crafter. The more I see of her art, the more in love with it I fall. Every time I visit her Etsy store I get super confused and can’t work out what I want (because I want ALL OF IT). So I thought it would be lovely to tell you lovely lot all about her. Ruth also keeps an ace blog and regularly tweets and updates her instagram with pretties including sharing the work of lots of other crafty types. I love her philosophy of investing every penny she earns through her store on other Etsy crafts, thus helping to sustain the wonderful world of home made creativity that I love so much. Lovely stuff! And before I forget – I did mention yesterday that I’m doing a detox this week. Well…it is officially underway and I can safely say that I am enjoying the juices way more than I thought I would. I’m following the Jason Vale Juice Master 5lbs in 5 days program. I’ve treated myself to a beast of a juicer (the Philips Avance in white – it’s easy to clean which is what sold it for me) and have a kitchen overflowing with fruit and veg. So far so good. The ginger shot first thing was remarkably yummie, and both of the juices for this first day have been delicious. I’m worried about this evening, though. Slurping my pint of delicious green goop while Damian tucks into his tasty piece of sirloin will be a challenge for sure. But I’ll try to stay strong!
