So…last week I went to that London. It was brrr cold. And I caught a chest infection that knocked me sideways. Oof. But it was all worth it. For I attended a workshop. A workshop hosted by a trio of fabulous ladies who really know their shiz. Three cheers for The Blogcademy. Now, I’m not going to try and tell you all about it, because that would be way too hard. I’ll just say that the headmistresses (Kat Williams of Rock’n’Roll Bride fame, Shauna Raider a.k.a. Nubby Twiglet and the queen of radical self love Gala Darling) were every bit as fabulous as I had imagined they would be. They were warm and open and sweet as can be. They cut to the chase and shared some of their knowledge and experience with the blogcadets with a smile, a giggle, several cakes and a big dollop of glitter. I’ve come away reassured that I that it’s ok to just be myself, to waffle away when I need to and post pretty pictures on my blog whenever the urge strikes. I feel like I have a handle on things, which is good, and I have some ideas for taking this wee blog further in the future. So that’s what I’m gonna do. You’ll be hearing a lot more from me, in other words. *nods* And in the meantime, here are some pretty piccies from the workshop. Curtain Road Studios looked amazing, I’m sure you’ll agree. The mouthwatering cupcakes provided by the glamorous Charlotte of Restoration Cake tasted even better than they looked. And the goodie bags! Oh my.
