Spring << chit chat >>
Looks like spring is making an appearance. The bulbs are poking their pretty little heads through the soil at long last. We have crocus and snowdrops galore here in Thrumpton. And every single one brings a smile to my face. I absolutely love the spring. That sense of awakening, of hope, of wonderful things to come. The green leaves unfurling on the trees, the bird song in my ears, the warm rays of the sun all making a come back. I love it, and it takes me by surprise each year just how much.
It’s my birthday tomorrow. I’m getting older. But on the plus side, the more I learn about myself, the more I am enjoying my life. Getting older does not bother me. I’m having more fun now than in my teens and twenties. I may not be as slender nor my skin as firm, but I know how to use lighting to my advantage. I can still look good in photographs, that’s for sure. Tee hee. It’s not cheating…it’s using my talents. So there!
To celebrate the passing of time, here’s some flowery goodness to feast your eyes upon. Enjoy!
