I’ve been quiet. I know. But I’ve been busy. Busy doing something a bit different. Well, different for me. Rather than taking pretty pictures, I’ve been working on the various other aspects of running my business. I’ve been making plans and even more excitingly, I’ve taken some steps towards putting those plans into action. Woo hoo! Luckily for me, a good friend of mine is in a similar boat. Sara of Monty Manatee fame is an artist with a really quirky style and she has just started offering wedding stationery in addition to her existing range of fabulousness. We got talking and one thing led to another and now…things are happening. For starters we’re collaborating on an exciting bridal shoot later this month and it is gonna knock your socks off. Well, it might. Depends on (a) whether you’re wearing socks and (b) how your socks react when faced with a whole lot of pretty in one big awesome-sauce package. Perhaps, when the time comes, you could report back. For future reference. And because I’m nosey. Anyways, look out for more sneak peeks leading up to the shoot itself. And in other news…how blummin’ lovely was the weather last week? And those glorious sunsets? I know, right! Criminal that I didn’t have any outdoors shoots scheduled to take advantage of that incredible light. I did have one of those “stop driving and snap a quick shot to remind me of how fabulous the world feels” moments though on my way up to Newcastle to stay with my sister. I should do it more often. It makes me smile.
