Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin Bishop and second shooting for him at this GORGEOUS wedding in Essex. Sarah & Jon met at uni while Sarah was working in Chapters book shop (after which they named the head table). They clicked over their mutual love of travel and have since been on countless adventures together (giving names to several of the other tables). Their wedding day was filled with happy faces, fabulous little details, hilarious stories and an overwhelming sense of love. I came away with a big grin on my face despite the fact that I lost my fabulous red specs somewhere in a field during the day…doh. But that’s another story. More importantly, feast your eyes on this corker of a wedding starting with the oh so pretty St Andrew’s Church in Sandon. Even a spot of rain couldn’t spoil this happiest of occasions!

After the ceremony we headed out to a beautiful barn for a fun filled reception. Such a fab venue. I fell instantly in love with it. And then I saw the pretty flowers, the too good to eat cake, the adorable table settings and the heart shaped hula hoops. You heard me HEART SHAPED HULA HOOPS. I die!

One of my favourite points in the day was when one of the guests spotted this rainbow over the barn and dragged poor Sarah away from her meal to see it and get a photo – sadly it had pretty much disappeared by then. But still…it was a rather lovely moment.
