Back in January I met with a bubbly young woman with a wedding notebook just bursting with wacky but wonderful wedding ideas. Rowena had plans. Big plans. The sort of plans a lot of people couldn’t pull off. But as soon as I met her I knew that this creative little lady could do it. And that she did. Not only did Rowena ride a lovely rescued horse called Meg to the church and back whilst wearing a bespoke corset & full tulle skirt by Susi Henson of Eternal Spirits, but she also made sure the entire day was filled with fun and laughter for all of her guests, young and old. Oh, and a whole lot of colour too. Check out the rainbow coloured bridesmaids, groomsmen and tables. Awesome-sauce! I also love that Row had not one, not two, but THREE pairs of shoes for her big day. Ok, so the riding boots and frilly socks may not be quite as sexy as the red sling backs or the bonkers silver spiked Louboutins (!!!) but they still made me smile from ear to ear and made a lot more sense on horseback, that’s for sure!
