Feast In The Woods << 2014 >>
I’m just back from a weekend of awesomeness, wild camping at a secret woodland location in Kent with a bunch of incredible people. The driving part was horrible. I consumed more cider than I probably should have (it was so so good) and definitely wish I’d managed to consume more of the amazing food (also so so good). Doubtless I smell bad and really should have had a shower by now. But I couldn’t resist throwing this post together before I embarked on the big clean. Because Feast In The Woods 2014 was EVEN BETTER than last year. And that was bloody brilliant. 2014 saw more people, more food, more cider, more dogs, face paint, ukelele sing along sessions, mental floating tents (check out Tentsile), a bit of rain that didn’t spoil anybody’s fun, plenty of sunshine, amazing curry, and above all else, a wonderful sense of community. Loved it. From start to finish (excluding the travel part, obviously, that was crap). I’m happy but pretty much exhausted. I haven’t had much chance to go through the photos yet, and I’m buggering off to Germany in a couple of days to shoot a super special wedding so it’ll be a couple of weeks before I have chance to get the proper gallery loaded, but here are some sneaky peeks that sum up for me the wonderful world that Honeywoods has created. Thanks to Bec from Honeywoods and her helpers for creating such a wonderful festival, to Virtual Orchard for the delicious booze, to Guyrope Gourmet and Indiana Joe Baba for tip top nosh, and to everyone else who helped to make this year such a great experience. Already can’t wait for next year!
