Wowsers < < chit chat > >
Aloha. I’ve had such an unexpectedly fab week. Lots of lovely little things have added up to some rather big smiles. Not least the early arrival of my car which wasn’t due to arrive on British soil until the end of November. Klik is the bestest baby car in the whole wide world and I am utterly in love with him. Plans are afoot to add some branding so once that is done I will be proudly display him here. He’s naked at the moment though. And I don’t want to post piccies of him naked. It doesn’t feel right. Instead, here are some of an old childhood friend of mine – Mr Horsey. Sadly this poor creature was loaned to my dad’s business partner when his little’uns were, well, little. And apparently they trashed him. No mane, scraggy tail, torn saddle, no bridle, broken handle/ear. It made me so sad to see what a state they had left him in when they returned him. Some people are so inconsiderate. I wouldn’t dream of borrowing something, breaking it and then giving it back without even apologising. But hey ho. That kinda sums up the people in question. The good news is Mr Horsey will be restored to his formed glory and will be in regular use again soon. My sister is going to have him repaired so that little LJ can play on him. Hurrah. Wonder if I’m too big for him now? Hmm.
Also, check out this 1 inch beast spotted while I was over at the workshop (aka the big barn over the road where my dad works on his rally car, I store TicToc and Mr Horsey is currently stabled) earlier today:
Before I disappear off to wolf down my exciting Sunday dinner (I’m cooking up some savoy cabbage with chestnuts in a creamy sauce to go with my mum’s roast lamb) here are some behind the scenes pics from the shoot last week.
